The Glory of D.T.

Richard C. Robinson

The Glory of D.T.

Take up the fascist burden, pull up the blighted knaves,
Who dare not think themselves as nothing but poor slaves;
Take them by their hands & buckle up their boots,
March on quick ahead; trampling on the roots.

Woe! upon the doubtful, who fancy themselves free,
They obviously do not know the Glory that is me.

It’s time to raise the nation, so Hapless yet so Blessed,
To win and win in conquering our foes and All the Rest.
Take up the fascist burden; it worked out well before,
America deserves it all, yea, all and ever more.

Shame upon the naysayers who live in ivory towers.
Doubt not that they’ll work with me—once they see my powers.

What’s a couple legal fees? Who said life was free?
It’s time for us to emulate good old Mussolini.
Take up this new burden, to save humanity,

With Power & with Glory, now go vote—NOW—for me!
